35mm processing

i have shot a short film on 35mm and now i got it processed. but i was just wondering how could i have the best dvd quality possible. help me on this.
should i do a 2k scan of the negative and get it telecined onto an HD tape and just tell me if you have any other options....i have a limited budget ....so help me with options.

Would it be below your dignity to indicate your name in full like everybody else does in the forum?

The other question is: What has film processing to do with your goal? I think you mean scanning. I shouldn't have made myself heard here had you not written processed. To process film is to put it into chemical baths and dry it afterwards. Sorry, that's my profession.
