This short film is the result of the genre exercise made by students at the National Film School of Norway. "Cut | Paste" was shot on S16mm film (2 rolls of film). The entire film was shot on a sound stage with two studio decorations, over the course of two days.

Very nice, i have to say.
I really like those camera moves.
I especially like those golden/yellowish color whit that young boy. in a few moment, i am not sure about some top head highlights. except that it is really really great.
Do you know which stock was used?

Hope to see more this style films form you, and maybe other students.

This is a beautiful film, clearly well conceived and executed. It's impressive to see a student film with such coordination between art department, cinematography, and visFX. I found the shot of the boy on the swing quite pleasing from an artistic and technical standpoint. Thanks for sharing your work.

Beautiful! Some gorgeous lighting and camera movement. I agree with everyone else, the art-direction and photography work wonderfully in sync.

How did you find doing a digital zoom into the eye with super 16?

We did the digital zoom ourself. I think it works. We planned to jib in/down, but the dolly broke down.
