Definitely looks HD....but which camera?
High fps makes me think that its a Phantom....

This is repurposed footage from the Lakai skateboarding video. In the end credits, they list a Photosonics Tech and mention telecine at Co3.

also at 5:25 are there any computer graphics to enhance the explosion?

this by far some of the best footage in skateboarding the last couple of years, (check out Yeah right video spike Jonzes is involved with great slow motion and from that video is that scene Mathew mentions from the youtube video at 0:09)
