It began as a sort of mockumentary kind of concept (hence the cheesy 80s music/dramatic overtones) but the final result didn't really come off that way (at least in my opinion).

(watch in HD).

One of my biggest concerns in this is what I've briefly heard about the colour white and its interaction with cameras (if maybe someone reading this could explain that a little more it may help). Well Squash courts are white all over and I did adjust exposure and work with that in certain scenes but for the most part it was just set on auto. I'm not sure on an experienced level how that actually worked out.

This was all shot on a Sony HDR-SR11, some steadicam work, post-production was done through Sony Vegas and files were dealt with via Cineform as an intermediate.

This is my first project put together (most footage that I've shot have been just myself experimenting photographically w/ things such as nature, city landscapes, lighting, framing etc.) with my own equipment. I've released one other very small project (it's on the YouTube channel), but I'm not very proud of it seeing as how I wasn't able to use even a camcorder to shoot it with (it was school's equipment) but it did get a bit of praise around other classmates when they saw it.

Any advice/criticism/thoughts/comments would be greatly appreciated.

Why can't I edit the title? I forgot to add the actual name of the documentary.

And now even the edit button the post seems to have disappeared.
