I recently acquired a D.B. Milliken 5AM high speed 16mm camera. I have searched the forums and only found vague answers. I have also been to the Alan Gorden website and tried contacting them. I am in need of finding a power source for this camera, or even rewiring it. The camera has a round nineteen pin power plug on the back. The motor says that it is 115V. Please any information on where to get or how to wire this camera would be very helpful.

Thank You for viewing.

What would be best is if someone here has the schematic and/or manual for you.

If you don't get lucky on that, the next thing to do is see if you can find any more information attached to the motor. It's likely not to be a custom made motor, but rather a standard design that they bought from a big motor manufacturer such as Baldor, G.E., Leeson, Westinghouse, etc. If you can find a make and model, the company web site will often have the info you need to wire it up. Baldor in particular has a lot of great introductory general information on their site.

If that doesn't work either, get a copy of your local business to business yellow pages, and find a motor repair shop. They'll likely be able to open it up and figure it out for you.
