Hey, I am confused on what exactly an HMI is? Why is it used, and when? Is it brighter then tungstens? Thanks

There are actually a variety of lamps claiming to be 'HMI'. Richard wrote something quite instructive on the matter here: http://www.dvinfo.ne...these-hmis.html
