I´m looking for a place to convert an Arri III to 2-perf Techniscope in the US.
Searching the forum and the Internet I found arandafilm in Australia but it might be too expensive to get the camera there.
Any recomendations?

Thanks a lot!

P+S in Munich, however they are fairly expensive, Aranda seems very good value, Bruce often posts here.

Do you already own the Arri III or could you consider alternatives?

The rental place where I´m working at owns two Arri III, I think they would´nt consider to convert any other of their cameras?

I already wrote Bruce and he replied immediatly, the only problem is to get the camera to Melbourne... Flights to Australia are long and expensive, that´s why we would prefer to bring the camera to the US.

Bruce is probably your best bet because I don't know if there is a company here in the US that would convert the camera to 2 perf. Believe me, Bruce does wonderful work and isn't as expensive as some other places.

Why not freight? It's not an overnight conevrsion unless you want a very long holiday!

because of argentinian customs and mail services. unfortunately they´re not very reliable... do you know how long it may take to convert the camera?

Of course you should consult with Bruce at Aranda FIlm, but I think this takes several weeks. Bruce's pricing is excellent, and he is well known for his conversions. Shipping it to him would make a lot more sense unless the customs situation in Argentina is just impossible.

Good luck,
