I've updated my Embed Comparisons site which offeres side by side live comparisons of the currently available video hosting sites. This is SD (HQ). HD is on its way.

I hope this site is useful to you!

Any tips or suggestions gratefully recieved. ;)

Hey, I think I'm 'going viral'. :o No, not swint flu! :D I had 300 hits on Saturday, 200 Sunday, 700 Monday, 800 yesterday.

Wow. I wish I was getting paid for this!

I started using Twitter a week ago, and it really works! A few big hitters have tweeted my link, like one with 30,000 followers  on Monday, and it's made a huge difference. Of course the site has to be useful (which it is) to be recommended that way. Interesting phenomenon. And so fast!

If you're a twit too and want to be kept informed of any updates you can follow them here http://twitter.com/VideoEmbedTests

My server stats are a real mystery to me. One fun site I put up several years ago about a ski-ing holiday in the Czech Republic called "Daisy and Karel's Big Snowy Adventure" gets several visitors every day. Who are they? How did they get there...?

Speaking of Twitter....I'm currently trying to find out how many Twitter followers you can get without ever sending a tweet. So far I have 14 followers, but hopefully that will grow fast. Follow me! I promise you'll never hear from me.

Thank you. :D

This whole new social media thing is really quite interesting (though I can't escape the nagging feeling I could be spending my time more productively!) and I can see how it could help with seeding interest in an indie - and quite clearly I'm trying to do that myself. This short article is quite revealing: http://mashable.com/.../twitter-purge/
