Hello everybody
I got the job to shoot a music video ether S-16mm or HDCam. The look we're aiming for is a very high key one. Who has experience and tips how to create this look with not to much light.
(As we all know, there isn't too much money around for music-videos anymore)

I'm assume that by the interior parts I should have the same exposure on "the object" as in the background. Is that right? But what about the exterior?

Would you guys overexpose a stop or two, or better do the whole Look in Post?
Also what about if I have to shoot on HDCam.

I'm really thankful for any tips and advice.

Lots of frontal fill. Put the key as close to the lens axis as possible (right where the 1st AC is standing ;)). Key with ultrabounce and edge with mirror boards for ext., jokers and kinos for int. You may still need a subtle frontal fill/eyelight.

Basically, expose for the background and light up the foreground to match. Same concept for the ext. That doesn't mean they need to both be at the same level. Use your judgement, expose the background hotter or darker to taste.

Light it high-key in camera, especially if you're shooting HDCAM. You won't be able to fake it in post.
