2 CAM SHOOT WITH 1 ADAPTOR AND 1 WITHOUT?

Is it going to look bad, or look noticeably different to shoot a short film with 2 Sony HD Ex-1's but only one has Letus Extreme 35mm adaptor?

We want to do it for more coverage for editing but do not have enough in the budget to afford 2 adaptors..

One DoF will be noticably shallower and a little bit softer. Perhaps try using something of a diffusion filter on the front of the adapter-less camera and keep it as your wide shot. TEST if you can @ the rental house to see how well it works first.
