Hi All,

I just completed a new short film for a contest being held by the Criterion collection. Here's the link:

The Engineer Makes Potatoes

One of the prizes is based on who gets the most/highest votes. So if you like the film, please, please, please give it a rating! I really appreciate it!

Best,
BR

Real claymation. Fine work, man. I hit the "awesome" star. Is that the vote you needed or do we go somewhere else to vote?

You've got it on the nose. Just vote one to five stars. Thanks for the support!

Actually, I highly recommend claymation for DPs. It's a fun way to work out lighting scenarios, and try different effects. And all you need are a few table lamps!

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. Sorry if I wasn't clear about this before, but if you want to vote, follow the link in the first post to my video, and choose a star rating (bottom left corner of video window). You may have to register with youtube, but it's fast and free. I've already gotten more views than forty of the 55 other entries. With your help, I know i can catch the rest! And you can vote every day! Thanks!

Very nicely done Brian, I rated it five stars.

My only suggestion is the shot of the bird, we sit on it for far too long before the potato comes flying in a takes him out. I would cut it just before the potato flies into the shot. That would actually be funnier I think.

But that's just the editor in me
