Hi,

I recently shot a short using p2 cards. I transferred the information onto 2 external drives and my mac harddrive.
I have looked at the footage using final cut on a computer at school, but at home I try to 'log and transfer' the files from the drives (and harddrive) into FCP and the folders show up but will not open. I am making sure I am opening from the folder which includes the "contents" and "Lastclip.txt" and still I cannot get the files to open on my computer.
Its a brand new Imac so space and capability are not an issue.

I'm out of ideas are there any out there!!!

Are you on the same version of FCP as you were @ your school? Seems to me like you may be missing the codecs for the P2 media, though it's been awhile since I messed with the panny cameras and it's have to be a very old fcp version.
