I read that while shooting the deserted London scenes from 28 Days Later, Danny Boyle used a DVX100 with Panavision lenses. DVX100 has a C mount if I'm not wrong. So how's this possible?

Then, can one also use standard 35mm lenses with a Canon XL-H1? (And i mean of course without a 35mm lens adaptor, but simply using the mount of the camera)

28 days later was shot on a Canon xl1, don't know if it was with standard glass or cine primes? DVX100 does not have a C mount lens.(where did you hear that one?) It is an intergrated lens. On either camera, an adapter must be used to use any other lens other than the one it comes with.

28 Days later was shot with the XL1 with the optex XL to PL mount and cine lenses. You can use that same lens adapter with any in the XL series, including the XL H1
