Sachtler tripod head control question

What are these controls? It's from a heavy Sachtler head (I forget the model specifically)

Counterbalance that forces the weight of the camera up to a horizontal position when fully engaged. If it's disengaged and you tilt down the camera will stay tilted down. If it is engaged and you tilt down, the camera will be force back up if you let go. The different control give you different combinations of counterbalance.

Play with them.. you will feel them adjust the tension on the Tilt.
