Turret Lock Cap/Screw

Do the aluminum turret lock screw caps come in different thread sizes? I got one off of ebay but its threaded shaft diameter is too big for the hole behind the turret in my REX1. Any idea about what camera the one I have might go to (in case the seller won't take it back)? Here it is:

The cap shown in the picture is for non-reflex cameras and goes in the topmost turret opening.
Its thread size is 13mm. The one for RX cameras has a thread of 10mm.
