Magic Bullet Look Suite causes Final Cut to Crash

I'm working for a company to make revisions to a project they finished a year or so ago, and every time I attempt to work with or render certain clips, or even play them in the timeline, Final Cut goes caflooey!

The error message says the problem "may" have been due to the Look Suite plug-in. And sure enough when I checked the problem clips, they all had a specific plug in called "LS Curahee."

I'm using Final Cut 6.0.4 on a Mac G5, so I don't think it's an issue of hardware. Besides, this project is old, and so you'd think it would work fine.

I'm at a loss. For now, I'm going to deactivate the plug-in under the Filter tab of each clip to which it was applied, but if anyone has experienced this problem, and knows a good fix, or can suggest an patch or update I can download, I'd really appreciate it!
