I am a wonna be cinematographer.Down from where i come from ,you get your self a camera and you begin filming.I know i need more help to understand technical terms associated with filming,can i get some recommendations of what dvds and websites to get acquinted with since reading books is not helping

As far as books go, you might not be looking at the right ones. Try the ASC Manual. It's two volumes. The first talks about a all the technical things you need to know and the second breaks down different kinds of cameras from all areas.
