Hey Everyone,

I have a pseudo "package truck" in the states and I'm want to move to Canada with it. I'm just worried that I will have to pay a lot in import taxes.

Do you know what it is needed to cross the border? Carnet?

Thanks for the help!

You can't just phone Canada Customs and ask them?

Be prepared for them to be very difficult and a massive pain in the butt to deal with.

Canada is also a Carnet country, which should cover you, but again, speak with customs.

Carnets are for temporary export & import of goods. If you're planning a permanent move you'll need to talk to Customs.

Ahh my mistake, I misunderstood the "move to" as a temporary thing.
