I'm buying a K3 which comes with the usual accessories including 5 filters. There is a 2 stop ND which would be useful as I have a couple of rolls of 250D to shoot. Does anyone have any experience with the quality of this filter? Does it cause any colour cast for example? If it's OK I'll use it, if they're bad I'll buy a quality brand filter.

If the filters were churned out under the same quality controls standards as the cameras and stock Meteor lenses, it could be the luck of the draw. You'll want to burn a roll of film to test the camera and lens, so why not shoot a filter test on the same roll?

I have used them and have never been able to successfully get the exposure compensation right, particularly when used with polarizer filters. I have measured light passing thorough the filter with incident and spot meters, but the footage has always been off. Sometimes more than others. I have tried it with different sets too. I would just as get dependable ones and toss the K3 supplied ones.
