I'm considering purchasing the Miller 1827 Compass 15 tripod system. I've tested the head already with a HPX-170 and loved it. I'll be using it with a similar camera or HVX-200 most of the time. For the money, I thought it was a great deal for a quality tripod/head. Has anyone had any experience with this support system? Pros vs. cons? Thanks!

for that much money I'd look into an O'Connor used. I have an awesome 50D head with legs which I got from Visual Products for abour $1500, and it works on camera from my own EX1 all the way up to my SR3, and I've used it with a BL4 (not fully tricked out, as lightweight as possible) and it holds up incredibly well.
