Hi all, how can i output a director's mon without shutting off the camera LCD?
i tried both HDMI and AV out...when i pulgged in a director's mon the LCD on the camera goes off.....
what can i do...?

you can use the canon utilety sofwere you got from canon

plug the cam via USB to the laptop

the laptop become your monitor with full control over the cam and still you can see via the camera LCD
