Just read this announcement, which is BIG:-

Technicolor is to announce today that it has donated its archive, one of the most important collections pertaining to the advent of color in film, to the George Eastman House.

This is a massive donation - the cameras, the films, the lab equipment, drawings and schematics, correspondence between Kalmus and George Eastman. The job of cataloguing it would be a lifetime's work - but it's being done by the only surviving Technicolor researcher to have worked with Kalmus.

Read the PR here.
