Is it possible, or is there any way you can incorporate 5.1 surround into your sound track when editing in Media Composer?

I presume upgrading to Nitro would be in order, perhaps using Pro Tools for the mix?

Media Composer has the software capability, but it's locked to use of the Nitris. You can do a software workaround by going over to protools with the video as a reference and mix in 5.1 there if you have the software or the specs for it.
