Hello,
I am a brand new filmmaker hoping to shoot a film this summer with actors from my local community theater, who hopefully will be able to transition from stage to camera well enough.

I need a tripod. I have a Canon Vixia HF200 (I know, bottom line, but all I can afford), and I need to get some nice smooth pans, so obviously, I need a fluid head for sure. I really only want to spend $150.

I see some tripods that look pretty good, but do any veterans have any suggestions?

Here are the ones I am considering:
http://www.bhphotovi...#specifications

They both come with a free dolly. A nice bonus.

But that's not important.

I need it to be steady, solid, and have smooth movement. That's about all I need. No fancy handle remotes or anything needed.

Any suggestions would be Greatly appreciated!
