Hi,
I'm doing a test shoot for a music video and documentary on the heavy-metal scene in Ottawa, Ontario.
I have the EX-1. I was unable to put the iris servo to manual, even though all the settings have been put into manual on both the physical switches and in the menu's. Did I miss something? Before I call the rental house, I want to give it one more try, but time is ultra-tight (Maybe it's a mechanical failure?) Have been looking through the manual, but we are shooting another video today with 2 other camera's that are other makes. (before the test shoot tonight)

Turn the camera off, and pull the power out. Then replace the power and turn the camera on.
Also there is button on the body on the smart side which says "full auto" with a green light on it, which overrides everything, make sure that's turned off. The bulb might've burnt out to try engaging and then disengaging it even if it's not lit up green.
