2c on 24V, safe?

Is it a good idea to power my 2c with a 24V battery, or should i better get a 16V ?

Only if you've got the high speed motor with the separate rheostat. The variable motors will work pretty well with 12 volts at 24fps but Arri does specify 16 volts and it's never a good idea to do something the manufacturer doesn't recommend.
