could anyone help me with examples of recent films that have used slow motion at 60 fps?

Yes 60 frames per second the methamphetamine of cinematography.

You might skim through back issues of American Cinematographer and ICG to see if anybody documented the rate they used for slow motion. If you really get lucky they may have used 60 for something. It's not a piece of information that tends to get neatly gathered up in one place for lots of movies. 60 fps is a fairly moderate slow motion. A lot of the TV commercial guys use 180 for pouring liquids.
