The script 'What Do You Thinx of Madeline Minx?’ won ‘Best Farce' at the Broad Humor Film Festival in Los Angeles and ‘Best Fresh Voice’ at the Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto. A staged reading of the screenplay took place in 2009 at the Electric Lodge Theater in Venice, California. Madeline Minx is now in pre-production on the feature film!

We are planning to shoot in October on a micro budget while financing comes in.
Credits, Meals provided. Deferred Payment offered for significant crew positions. Please email a cover letter, resume and links if you have a reel online to noemizeigler@gmail.com

SYNOPSIS:
Madeline Minx, a square peg in a round hole, drags her best friend, reclusive pianist Winston Trundle, to Hollywood lusting after mainstream acceptance and a record deal. Winston vies for Minx's romantic affections, but she's too busy courting Rama, a hot up-and-coming A & R executive slash spiritual guru. Rama sets up a showcase to debut Minx to the record industry, branding her wacky act as neo- spiritual post-punk girl power. All she has to do is get a little more girly and a little less powerful.

S'funny how you can tell, whenever anyone brags about how great their script is, there's never any bloody money.

I don't get it. Why doesn't anybody secure financing then make the movie?
