I recently watched 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' and was wondering how they achieved that yellowish glow that is in a lot of the film in the interior sequences of the film? Was it on set, filming, post production - or all three?

All 3. It starts with production design, then goes through the camera and lighting and ends up finished in post. it's easiest to get there with good production design, though and then utilize lighting and any camera filtration to get as much in camera as possible, using post to clean up anything that doesn't quite fit yet.

Im sure claudio had the color scheme in pre-prod. Shot-it. then changed the look in the DI. However to achieve the green he could have easily used green gels or florescent lights which would read green to the camera. Either way he used a 2k DI so you can virtually change any color to whatever you want.
