I must make some shots for a project that will be edited in the USA.
I have only European (PAL) version of Panasonic HVX174, that has 1080/50i mode (not 60i).
Is it possible to use this material for editing?

It depends on what artifacts the customer is willing to accept, and how much they're willing to spend fixing the selects in post. If you have a 1080/25p mode, that would be better than 50i, since we can run it at 24 fps through the traditional 3-2 pulldown. It also has more resolution.

Thank you very much John!
I will discuss this with the editor of the project.
