Hi,

I'm wondering one thing about Arri SR 1 & Angenieux zoom combo. It's hard to explain but I try: I'm going to use Angenieux 10-150mm F2.0-2.8 with regular 16mm Arri SR 1. When the focal lenght is set at 10mm and focusing to 1,5 meters there's vignetting in the viewfinder. When I change focusing distance further the vignetting eventually disappears. Why is that? Is it normal? This Arri is not super 16.

Thanks, Mauri Lehtonen

Yeah, that is normal with some front barrel (not internal) focusing lenses. I have an Angie 10-150 T2.2 that does the same thing. It covers S16 at 10mm when focused 7' to infinity. Nice lenses for the money.

Ok, thanks for reply. I haven't used this kind of lens before so this seemed pretty weird. Too bad I don't have any kind of DOF table for this lens.
