Hey all first time posting. I'm living in London and trying to find a course to teach me about the power side of lighting any ideas?

BBC training and development (now called the BBC academy) do a couple of lighting courses, they tend to be pitched at a more basic level these days as they are mainly catering for junior tech and production staff.
They do cover electrical theory and may be worth a look, however they can be expensive. They are based at Wood Norton in Evesham, number is 0370 010 0264.

Also checkout the Skillset web site for courses. It could be worthwhile talking to the guys at Panalux or Arri Lighting UK about short courses for film electricians.

Hi, Last year I went to Broadcast video expo Broadcast Video Expo and I saw this guy Johnatan Harrison - trust me, he is very good.
Contact him, or come to next expo in february, sessions are free, I hope he'll be there and he shows us some tricks again.
Good luck mate.
