I'm trying a new experiment that needs to have two cameras shooting the exact same frame (with and without movement) in the same time.
I thought about building a 3D like grip that allow me to have two cameras positioned at a 90 degree angle with a mirror (1 side is mirrored the other is a transparent glass) at 45 degrees between the two cams.
I did not start building this rig, i need some advice about lightweight materials i can use and what to look for and the lacks and strengths of this system.

Thank you,

I remember that Clairmont built a rig like that long ago, in the 1980's or 90's. They had it at Showbiz Expo. If you can find a 3D rig that would let you adjust the interocular distance to zero, that's all you'd need.

I actually thought of a 3d rig for the concept but I'm in an area where there's no production house that has a 3d rig yet so i need to build it myself.... anyway i have to find a beam splitter in order to split the light in two. any advice.
Thanks john for your reply :)
