A friend of mine, Scott Rhodes, a TV and film stuntman for many years, has been temporarily sidelined with a stroke, but he's not letting that get him down. He's written a wonderful Eurospy/costumed hero spoof entitled "Super7even Vs. Dr. Diabolical". We're going to shoot the trailer for it on Super 8. The movie itself will be shot on HD to keep costs down (unless we get an investor who loves film, then it's on to Super 16!), but the trailer will be shot with a Nikon 8X Superzoom, with an Argus/Cosina 706 as our "B" camera.
Check out our crowd-funding site at
Super7even Trailer
Our goal for the trailer is only $500, which will allow us to buy a discount film/processing package at Spectra Film here in Los Angeles.
Even if you can't donate any money (and believe me I understand that), check out the site, and our Official Website at
Super7even Website
Tell all your friends, fans of film, fans of 60's action films, anyone who loves Super 8! The more people who know about Super7even, the greater the chance of getting this project funded and on its feet!
