I am thinking of buying a LETUS 35mm system for my HVX200. Is it vital that it's optimized for this camera? I am relatively new to to filming but really want a good DOF and more film like look to my productions. Are there other systems out there?

There are lots of other systems out there. Do some research on this forum as well as google searches and you'll find plenty of information. A lot of them are being dumped cheap now as people migrate over the the HD DLSR thing to get the shallow DoF.
