Grading for consumer TVs

I usually grade on a calibrated CRT.

But when I watch the result on a consumer TV set it´s always to contrasty and dark.
Same goes for flatpanel computer monitors.

How do you guys deal with that? CC super flat for crappy cheap uncalibrated panels with oversaturated factory settings out there?

We use calibrated monitors, formerly CRT's, now mostly plasmas. We figure that the folks out in TV land will tweak their sets at home to their personal taste and viewing environment.
