Greetings forum... I'm excited. This month I'm sending off my Arri SR2 to get it converted to "super".... I just have to wait for my Pelican case to arrive in the mail...lol. I didn't trust the ole metal Arriflex case the camera originally came in... all the foam has deteriorated.

Welcome to an expensive but beautiful new world.

Get out and shoot with that thing.

I would suggest looking into a projector and either shooting some reversal 16mm or having a work print made of your negative and actually project the film just so you get that experience.

Have you thought about Ultra 16mm?

Will....yes, I certainly will do that... I'm a novice with the 16mm, but eager to learn. Michael, yes, i looked into it but i felt more confident with "super" although it appears "ultra" is gaining. Thanks.

Go Super 16 if you can afford. Many more options for Telecine.
