It's my first time posting, so I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this in, but here goes.

We're looking to upgrade the video assist in our cameras. Currently, we're using Sony XC-999's for the job, but it's just not cutting it - in low light, the display is just too dim and grainy. We need something that will provide the absolute best image quality and sensitivity.

Anyone have any recommendations? Price is not an issue. The camera should be about the same dimensions as the XC-999 (1"/1"/3"), have a 1/2" chip or bigger, and have frame store. Output needs to be colour and at least NTSC, but HD is preferred.

What camera system do you have? Arri has some very nice HD taps available for some of their systems.
