how to make flicker sodium vapour lamps

hi,i am vijay


According to my story,i should create flicker in sodium vapour lamps inside subway(my shoot time is night)..give me suggestions

An old post, but I will answer anyway. You did not mention what country you are filming in but here the frequency of electrical light is 50Hz
in the US and other countries it is 60Hz. So Assuming you are in the US and the frequency of the electric is 60Hz setting your camera to any
shutter speed that is not a divisible number of 60 will make the lights appear to flicker.

For example: you will not see flicker if your shutter speed is set at 1/60 or 1/120 but will see flicker at any speeds in between.
