I'm looking for any books or blogs or just about anything that discusses the aesthetics of color correction. The differences in colors, what works best where, how to achieve a certain feel, CC for broadcast, for projection, etc.

Anyone have any good books or references?

Nothing beats hands on experience though... I started grading film about seven years ago and it took a little while for me not to get yelled at... but I found out allot over time about what aesthetics people liked and what different kinds of people want. There really are allot of "tells" in the images themselves and I am lucky in that I push film on a DaVinci desk and don't grade dslr footage too much... the more range there is in the original the more creative you can get in the color room...

Look into some book on color theory in general and also read up a lot on art history. Get a feeling for how painters used colors ect, and then move on the photography ;)
