Kowa Anamorphic Lens

Hi, first time posting here on Cinematography.com.

I'm Yaz. Nice to meet you all!

I'd like to ask the question regarding the Kowa anamorphic lens.
I see different models like 16-s, 16-d, 8-z, and 2x.
Could I ask what the differences are?
16-s and 16-d are for 16mm film camera? and 8-z is for 8mm? if right, then what about 2x?
I've watched a couple of videos shot on DSLR mounted with Kowa anamorphic lens. And I couldn't help noticing, 16-s and 16-d vids appear too narrow, compared to that shot with 2x lens. Is that how it would appear when you shoot with 16-s or 16-d anamorphic lens on? Vids shot with 2x on look more like the cinescope films.
