Does anyone know why this might happen and how to solve it?

I have 108060i footage shot on a Canon XHG1 that was captured to FCP 6.0.6. The footage looks just fine when played back in FCP, but when I look at the same captured footage in QT as the uncompressed QT movie, it appears to strobe when there is camera movement. The same thing happens when I export the footage in Compressor using the HDV 1080i60 setting as well as the QT export directly from FCP.

Any idea what's going on?

Thanks!
