I'm gearing up to shoot a reality style TV program where we will be following around a family while they shop in a grocery store, go to a farmers market, and in the workplace.

Since these segments will be pretty run-and-gun without time to prelight, I was hoping to have the second AC near camera with a 2-bank kino or a 1x1 LED light panel mounted to them and filling in the subjects faces when necessary. My question is regarding power for either of these two options. The kino seems to require the ballast, battery, and maybe an inverter, which could be very bulky and not practical for a belt.

Does anyone have any advice on low power, mobile soft lighting, and ideas on how to power it?

Thanks in advance.
