Hello !

I'm looking for an adaptor to use cameflex-lenses on Arri-St or Arri-bayonett cameras, or on c-mount cameras like bolex for example.

Are there any adaptors for this ?

What about the old Mitchell-Standard-Mount ? What can I do to use this lenses on other cameras ?

Thanks

Michael

Unfortunately, it is impossible to use a lens in Cameflex mount on a Arri standard or Arri bayonet mount camera and achieve infinity focus.
Cameflex on C-mount is possible but I know of no commercially available adapters. It would have to be custom-manufactured.

If your lens happens to be a Angenieux 12-120mm, it is possible to swap the Cameflex mount for a C-mount if you can find one.

As for the the Mitchell standard mount, I am unfamiliar with it.

Cheers,
Jean-Louis

It's not difficult to change the mount if you have the proper parts but then the lens has to be precisely collimated which should be done by a technician with the proper test equipment. In the UK, the only person I am familiar with is Les Bosher. There probably are others but I am not familiar with them.

I have found an CAMEFLEX to M4/3 adapter for around 100GBP, I don't think that work with parts would be any cheaper than that. It's better to buy adapter I think since I will be using it with micro4/3 camera. Thanks anyway.
