Just a quick post in a bit of a rush. Saw this new technology article and thought it may interest some of you. Make sure you click parts of each images to refocus!

Light Field Technology

If such technology progresses as quickly as digital sensors did what sort of impact do you think it will make on our industry? Currently it seems limited to stills but it will only be a matter of time...

I think the main issue with the product is the time it took me to understand what the heck it was. I thought it was snake oil before I understood how the technology worked.

After that I'm still underwhelmed by it's inherent low resolution. Wish I could try one out!

It is an interesting product for mistakes. It would would nice to see footage and a bigger picture with high resolution of the technology.
