I have to say I think the cinematography in this video is pretty phenomenal.



A colleague told me this was shot with a RED MX, but I was suspicious. It looks like 35mm to me. I found the official post on Vimeo and it credits "telecine" so I'd say it's 35mm. Anybody have any behind the scenes knowledge and know for sure?

Probst said it was the Red (and Hawk V-Series anamorphics) here.

It looked like the Red to me.

That doesnt look like 35mm to me. It looks rich in the blacks but poor in the highlights...very typical RED camera-ish. And the term "telecine" doesnt mean anything these days since RED has the "REDCine" because they apparently suffer from film-envy.
