Color Correction in FCP's Color

This is a question for anyone with experience in Final Cut Studio's Color program. Please reference the stills below.

As you can see, the girls CU obviously does not match the guys, as we were losing light fast. I do have a take that is a much closer match, but it seriously lacks both performance and continuity.

Just wondering what thoughts were on whether Color is able to "handle" this or should I just go with the bad take that matches?

Of course they wouldn't match in reality either, because she'd have the sun full in her face.

Any competent piece of software can make this match reasonably well. Obviously, how much warmth you want to leave in it is up to you.
