Hi,

I got a Canon 514xl and I noticed when I turn the diopter all the way to the left I see a good amount of debris in there. I can't seem to clean it out..

Anybody know of a way to clean it? I think its just the viewfinder...or could be the lens? I can't really tell.

Hello,

I am guessing the view finder may need a clean from the inside, the 514 has a similar setup to alot of the other canon's and it is quite easy to take off the top cover and use a Q tip to clean the inside of the veiw finder. Below is a link with some pictures on how to do it.

Good luck...
