The problem is that it requires a repeatable scene - it isn't really a "trillion frames per second camera", it's a one short fast frame every ten seconds, a trillion times camera.

Still very impressive though, I'd love to see some laser beam pulses through some haze.

You'd have to have the haze stay the same consistency at all times ...

Exactly. It's more like having a trillionth-of-a-second shutter on a stills camera, that is triggered slightly later each repeated cycle of the scene. A bit like "bullet time" but using only one camera.
