Hi All,

Does anyone know what type of gels/diff could be/were used to get this look as seen in Season 1, Episode 7 of Band of Brothers? Do you think they used any at all? From experience, I'm guessing Brown, Amber, and Light CTB but I'm not really sure, the lighting designer, Ian Franklin was also the rigging gaffer for Inception and Dark Night Rises, can anyone guess what he's doing?

With all of those set-ups to shoot with multiple cameras, I doubt he used much lighting at all, especially with snow on the ground. Maybe some small soft HMI fill when needed, or a bounce card, or maybe the opposite, some negative fill from black flags.

Thanks for your response Mr. Mullen! I hadn't considered the snow.
